  1. I bought this product in my local health food store for $2.50 a bag. Here it is over $3.00 a bag.

I’ve only tried the sour cream and onion so far. I think they taste great. And, they are very filling to me. I ate one half a bag and was not even hungry for lunch any longer. That wasn’t my goal. I was just looking for a more nutritionally sound snack than the empty calories associated with most snack items. Keep in mind that you may not find these as appealing if you typically eat the fully loaded versions of chips and crackers. I rarely touch potato chips unless of the baked variety, etc… These are expensive, but at half a bag at a time they will last longer. More exciting – it will reduce the amount of calories I intake from snacking AND apparently from meals given how I feel after consuming. Additionally, the calories consumed have some nutritional value above and beyond the usual choices.

In addition to the full bites, I’ve tried the chocolate full bars. They don’t taste bad, but for the calorie exchange…I’d rather have a real deal rice krispy treat or oreo cookie, even if no nutritional value to these! I love my sweets! But for a salty snack substitute – full bites totally work for me. I don’t feel I’m sacrificing anything.

  3. I couldn’t wait to get these. I opened the first bag 30 minutes before my meal (as instructed) and ate it with a glass of water (also as instructed). My first bite wasn’t the worst thing I had tasted so I took second bite. Here is where the water is important, the bite sucked all the moisture out of my mouth and made it very hard to swallow. I had to drink some water in order to get the bite down. The taste began become an issue after the third bite. The taste was similar to old rice cakes or corn cakes from Quaker. I could feel the grit from the corn meal that was in each bite. I only got half way through the bag before I was beginning to feel ill. I wasn’t hungry after half a bag but I also didn’t want another bite of the Full Bites. If the company improves the flavor and removes a large amount of the grit, I might try them again. Until then, I won’t go near them again.

They taste really good. I always real all the bad reviews then decide if I want to try the product. I was expecting these to be just horrible. Well….they arent. I couldnt finish the first bag (tummy did get full) my 3 year old tried one and she thought they were delicious too! I bought the cheddar flavor. As far as loosing weight, not sure yet but I will say I am not hungry now. I ate half a bag. 1 bottle of water.

To me if it’s supposed to be healthy AND filling I expected them to taste like cardboard…maybe the bag I got was fresher than the reviewer who felt they tasted stale or like a rice cake because I actually REALLY enjoyed these…even if they weren’t filling I would have found them great for the amount you get for only 150 calories. (a really full bag). Mine were crisp and had a nice mild sour cream and onion flavor.

I actually just picked them up at Walgreens where they were 50% off because I was famished running work errands but they are currently cheaper here (at the time of my review they run under 2 bucks each here with no tax…although the price fluctuates depending upon the seller so this may change eventually.) Anyway, I liked them enough to see if Amazon had the automatic delivery of them with the auto-delivery discount, but they did not.

I would love it if they were even cheaper but I am impressed with how filling they are without un-natural additives, they are full of fiber, and I liked the taste. I probably won’t stock up on them as often as I would if they lowered the price a bit more, but I’ll, most assuredly, keep em around.

It should be noted: These aren’t exactly calorie free so I can’t say I entirely “get” the premise of eating these right before a meal because 150 calories before every meal could add up fast even if you ate slightly less at the meal, it may not result in a loss. I, therefore, would choose these for a snack in between healthy meals and it did keep me satisfied. For others it may help them adjust the meal size enough to cause a loss. Also I was surprised to notice they are high in protein too

Update: The more I have these the more surprised I am how extremely filling they are. If I keep drinking water, it seems as though they just keep expanding and keep me full. As someone into working out, I try to eat tiny healthy meals every few hours to keep my metabolism up but my body, with my energy, also seems to always want food even when I shouldn’t eat it. I am always hungry at meal time. Yet, I actually bypassed dinner a few times after eating these. I NEVER do that. Just to be healthy, I ate some veggies but I eat high fiber meals all the time without that result…so I am now a fan.

I have not yet tried the other flavors.
