I love this product! I eat Dr. Melina bars every day. I recently climbed The Nose route of El Capitan and ate the bars along the way. They not only provided me with the energy and nutrition I needed, but I found them to be delicious and easily digestible. I will take these on all my climbs and hikes from here forward.

I have eaten a lot of the bars over the years. I tried Dr. Melina bars after seeing Dr. Melina speak on Regis and Kelly. The great thing about this bar is it has a lot more protein and fiber than the other ones out there, but less calories. I have tried this one for breakfast vs. luna bars and lara bars and i am less hungry later. they taste quite good. Kind of like an adult rice crispy treat.

I like the flavor of all three bars which Dr Melina provides, all are well balanced and I enjoy the flavors, not loaded up with carbs and sugars like the main stream bars which are out there

I have been eating the bars, mainly chocolate peanut butter and cinnamon, for the past year. They are nutrionally made of the best protein source (whey protein) and are the perfect blend of tastes…not to much of any one taste. I use them after workouts, fishing, hiking and when I need to satisfy a ‘hunger itch’. It really makes a difference when the bar is created by a physician that specializes in nutrition.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE! but only the chocolate peanut (the other 2 flavors didn’t appeal to me). It’s crispy, chocolatey, nutty and not at all like a normal protein bar. Excellent flavor and texture. At 180 calories – it makes for a nice in-between-meal snack and is filling enough for a light meal. The balance of proteins and carbs works perfectly with the Insulin-Resistance Diet, too. They honestly taste so good, it feels like you’re “cheating”.
